Abstract

The article is devoted to experimental study the possibility of using dimensionless marks of binary contour image of a real object for recognition. Results of experiments of identification of real objects based on the values of the standard deviation between the etalons and the unknown input object. The received results allow to speak about possibility of this method application for identification of flat objects in vision systems. The identification accuracy does not depend on the initial position of the object relative to the camera.
